This policy explains what information I'll Wait Until I'm Found (the "Site", "we") collects when you use it and how that information is used. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Files you upload

Files you upload to a tool are used only to perform the operation you requested (for example, extracting audio or converting a document). They are stored in temporary folders under random names, are not accessible to other users and are deleted automatically after you download the result or after a short period, usually within a few hours. We do not look at, share or sell your files.

Some tools work entirely inside your browser, so your files never reach our server: the QR code scanner and the in-browser export mode of the video editor.

2. Information you give us

When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you and keep them no longer than needed for that purpose. When you create an account in the video editor we store your username, email (if provided), a securely hashed password and your project settings.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records standard log data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are deleted regularly. Some tools, such as the Website Checker or Browser & Connection Check, show your IP address and approximate location back to you; this data is not stored.

4. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps forms and logged-in tools working.
• Preference cookies: for example, the high score in the Falling Blocks game.
• Advertising and analytics cookies: set by Google, as described below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential tools will keep working, although some features may need cookies to remember your choices.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Site may display ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.

6. Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand which tools are popular and how to improve them. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage information through cookies. You can prevent it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Third-party services used by tools

• The AI Image Generator sends your text prompt to the Pollinations image API to create the picture.
• Browser & Connection Check requests approximate location data from ip-api.com and weather from open-meteo.com.
• The Website Checker contacts the website you enter and public DNS and Whois servers.

Only the data needed to perform the request is sent to these services.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (for example, contact form messages or your video editor account). Use the contact form to make a request.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
