About Scan Cleaner
Phone photos and scans of paper documents often come out with a gray or yellowish background, shadows and faint marks that make them hard to read and print. Scan Cleaner turns such images into clean black-on-white pages.
Every pixel lighter than the sensitivity threshold becomes pure white, while darker pixels (the text) are made darker by the contrast boost. You can process up to a thousand pages at once and download them as one ZIP archive.

How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Which threshold should I use?
Start with 30. If gray spots remain, increase it. If thin lines of text start to disappear, decrease it.
Does it work on color photos?
It is designed for documents. On colorful photos the light areas will turn white, which is usually not what you want.
Are my documents stored?
No. Uploaded files are processed in memory and the ZIP archive is deleted right after you download it.
